WestCare Physical Therapy focuses on improvement of strength, endurance, flexibility, motor control and stability to support the return to normal functional activities. The Physical Therapy Program at WestCare includes patient education about the mechanism of injury, the recovery process and prevention of re-injury. In the acute program, symptom relief is achieved through medical management or passive modalities with progression toward an active and aggressive treatment plan.
