The key focus of Occupational Therapy (OT) is the safety and independence in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and a return to previous lifestyle for the patient. The main goal of OT is to see individuals regain as many functional skills as possible for returning home.

OT helps individuals to reclaim independence with daily living skills that range from bathing and dressing, to making a bed or preparing meals. Adaptive equipment is provided, as needed, for those who require assistance with daily activities.
