WestCare Health System laboratories are accredited by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation, of the College of American Pathologist.

Each of our laboratories provides:

  • Clinical and reference testing
  • Microbiology
  • Cytology
  • Histology
  • Anatomic Pathology

Services are available to physician offices and to patients at the following locations:

  • Harris Regional Hospital Lab in Sylva
  • WestCare Outpatient Lab in Sylva
  • Swain County Hospital Lab in Bryson City
  • WestCare Medical Park of Franklin Lab in Franklin

Hours of Operation:
Harris Regional Hospital Lab: 7 days per week, 24 hours per day
WestCare Outpatient Lab: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Swain County Hospital Lab: 7 days per week, 24 hours per day
WestCare Medical Park of Franklin: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
