Mountain Trace Nursing Center - Visitor Information

Mountain Trace welcomes visits from friends and family members.

Family members and friends are always welcome to dine with resident for a nominal fee. Please notify the dietary staff at least one day prior to mealtime.

Visiting Hours and Regulations:

  • Please observe visiting hours from 9:00am-8:00pm.
  • Members of a resident's immediate family may visit at any time, provided visits do not disturb others.

    • To assure the safety of our residents, we ask that visitors and family members use the front lobby entrance.
    • Most of the Administrative Offices are located off the lobby on the first floor. All resident rooms are on the 2nd floor and may be reached by the lobby elevator or stairs.
  • Anyone with a cold, sore throat, fever, or communicable illness should not visit.
  • Visitors should check with a nurse before bringing food or candy to ensure the resident's medical. safety. All food must be kept in an airtight container for sanitary reasons, and labeled with a name and date.
  • Mountain Trace is a tobacco free, alcohol free, and weapons free facility. Therefore none of these activities are allowed on the campus.

Visitor Parking

Special parking is provided for our visitors in the front and side parking areas for maximum convenience.

Chaplaincy Services

Chaplaincy services are provided through the Chaplaincy program at Harris Regional Hospital. Chaplain John Reid leads weekly bible studies, serves communion quarterly, visits residents, leads a family member support group, and is always on call at 586-9538 to provide spiritual counseling and encouragement for residents and family members.
